About two years ago I was referred by a friend to Dr. Shaw for her weight reduction program so I made an appointment to set up my consultation/medical exam. We talked about what program would work best for me and she assured me that if I follow the program that I would reach my goal weight, maintain and keep the weight off.
Age ~ 25, Height ~ 5'11, 235lbs was my max weight and I didn't want to get bigger. I'm very tall for a woman and I carry it well but I wasn't happy. I wasn't fat but I definitely wasn't fit, I was out of shape and wasn't in the best health for a 25 year old.
So I started the program
*B12 shot, prescribed fat burner, Multivitamins etc...
*Low calorie diet, Eating Clean Foods.
*Gym 3-4 days a week or Walking, Exercise at least 60min A day and Saying active as much as possible.
I noticed a major difference after two weeks!! I was loosing 4-5 pounds a week. After loosing about 30 pounds I averaged 3 pounds a week. The weight loss slowed down a bit because i had less body fat to burn after loosing 30+ pounds. Those last 10-15 pounds are the hardest to loose, so you need to work out just a little more everyday if possible to keep up the results.
I started the program at 235lbs. And reached my goal weight of about 175lbs - 180lbs.
Needless to say i was so excited about my new look I started going out a little more and cheating on my diet but Dr.Shaw has been here to put me right back on track to help me maintain my weight.
Note: There is never going to be a magic pill or diet that will make you skinny. You have to change your lifestyle! Eat right all the time and be active even if you just walk for 30-40min everyday. If you don't maintain a active and healthy lifestyle the results are going to be temporary and you'll be right back to where you started.
